Our Story
Reculver Property Group traces its origins to the partnership of David Allan (Builder) and Tom Saunders (Property Valuer), who established the foundations of the business through high-quality construction and property development.
In the early 1990s, David Allan acquired Tom’s share of the business and continued to grow the company with a strong focus on craftsmanship, reputation and long-term property ownership.
Dave and Callie Allan built a respected reputation delivering prestige homes throughout Brisbane’s most sought-after suburbs, including Hamilton, Paddington and New Farm. Their work was defined by attention to detail, architectural sensitivity and a commitment to building projects that would stand the test of time.
Over time, the family expanded their focus beyond residential construction, applying the same principles to commercial office spaces and a range of value-add property opportunities.
Today, the next generation leads the group.
Duncan Allan now runs Reculver Property Group, building on the family’s legacy while evolving the business into a modern property investment and development platform.
With experience across prestige homes, townhouse developments and complex property projects, Duncan brings both practical construction expertise and strategic investment insight to the business. As both a licensed builder and licensed real estate agent, he brings a rare dual perspective to identifying opportunities, managing projects and delivering successful outcomes.
